Director Comment

Hi I'm Marie, the Director of Promotion for Atlantian Records. My journey with this book series began when my sister-in-law called me from the grocery store. She said, “there is a woman telling me her story.” Then she started relaying the first part of Teohi’s testimony. I thought she meant there was literally a woman at the store telling her this amazing story. I frantically started writing down what she was saying on a piece of scratch paper, afraid that we would lose the information once the woman walked away.

When Cieladora (nickname Ciela) stopped to take a breath, or I don’t know, pick out a tomato, I jumped in and asked why on earth someone picked her to tell her this amazing story at the grocery store. We had a moment of confusion until I figured out that there wasn’t actually a woman standing in front of her conversing with her.

So while Ciela narrated to me, I wrote down names, places and some events, getting the picture that this must be about the fall of Atlantis. I practically screamed into the phone, “Ciela you have to stop what you are doing and write this down”. “What if you forget later”, I implored?

I could feel the energy flowing into me, I knew this was an important story to capture with accuracy. I knew I wasn’t keeping up with the narrative on my little scraps of paper. We hung up and I sat around pondering the strange phone call.

I called her back after supper and sure enough, she had forgotten everything when she got home. My notes couldn’t begin to recreate all the details I had heard her tell me. Oh, well. I figured if it started once, it would just have to come back to her sometime. And, come back it did!

Not too many days after the grocery store call, Ciela called in the morning from her home and began reciting to me the dream she had had the night before. She was relaying word for word the final moments right before the Atlantian cataclysm. It was as though she and I were watching as the tragedy unfolded. As she talked, I began to sob. I couldn’t help it. I felt as if I was hearing about my own loved ones in danger and about to die. When she got to the part about the Adepts around the circle, this triggered a deep and poignant memory I have had from a long ago time....
